Unidentified persons on Saturday night snatched the weapon from the guard of a pro-India leader in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
Police sources told CNS that the service rifle was snatched from the guard of CPI (M) leader Ali Muhammad Koka in Bugam village. They added that all but six armed men barged into the house of Koka and snatched the service rifle from the guard Bashir Ahmed.
“A case has been registered in this regard and investigation has been taken up,” said a police official. (CNS)
