Chanting pro-freedom and anti-India slogans hundreds of traders who were joined by local youth hold protest rally in Bandipora on Thursday.Protesting traders marched from Peer Masjid to Nowpora Chowk where many elders and Mohalla heads addressed the gathering.
The speakers urged international community, UNO and IOC to pressurise India to end its “colonialism” in Kashmir and address the issue according to UN resolutions.
Meanwhile, curfew like restrictions remained imposed in Kaloosa area where forces forced people to remain indoors.
