The internal policy that is going behind the curtains, is very dangerous, in the turmoil of 2010, same situation arose, when leaders were arrested and taken to sub jail, chesma shahi, that is located, at the interiors of Boulevard and some were taken to new Delhi on the pretext of their illness. I remember very well, after the leaders were released in the turmoil of 2010, their tone and policy changed. Then normalcy returned, and nobody asked, what happened, what made the boiling water cool so suddenly. Rumors spread sporadically in air, that all leaders were bribed to bring back normalcy in the valley.
Every action of our leaders, must be open to all, whatever they are going to do, talk or think. The so called liberals and leaders should not be ambivalent and contradictory to one another. There must not be any window open for any infidelity. People are desperately adjusting this time with this resistance, many sleep hungry, many are without food, many who earn in day to feed their family at night, they are keeping an eagle’s eye on the leaders, and how they will lead this movement to culmination.
All media, local, national or international is watching the situation, to write in their papers, history stands witness, that our own people have betrayed such resistances for the sake of money, and they have succeeded well.
In the start, in nineties, what happened, those who were staunch, militants fighting for freedom, became informers, and got arrested all those, who were their counterparts in the struggle. The movement that started with gun, ended without any trace. Then all those who were left, arrested, or put behind Jails, joined Hurriyat Conference, to safeguard their lives. Even many left the state or country and started their business abroad. I know, it is a harsh reality to accept and believe, but it is true.
In nineties, everyone who was the part of the movement, directly or indirectly, were knowing that freedom is very near, massacre of Gowkadal, Hawal and in other parts of the valley, many innocent people got killed, 300 houses were burnt by security forces in Gowkadal and the Islamic College that was considered, one the best colleges of Northern India, with the oldest books and library worth crores was burnt by our own people, who burnt the college, everybody knows.
From the day the struggle for freedom started till now, never have people of Kashmir remained sincere, that is why, till now we are slaves, and are ruled by tyrants. Money and deceit has always harmed the movement, whenever the voice was raised for the same. The most important thing the people of Kashmir are lacking is honesty with their motherland and realization. That is blotch on our faces. Books have been written of our infidelity.
The Mughal emperor Akbar won the battle with Yousuf Shah Check, the forth time, he was defeated by Yousuf Shah Check the first three times when he tried to conquer Kashmir. It has been written that he used the formula of divide and rule. He bribed, some of his ministers, and provoked sectarian violence, between Shia and Sunni, till then, there never was any conflict between the two sects. That is why, that seed, he sowed, that time, the thorns of that still are planted here. That is why, we Kashmiris are suffering very badly.
Youth loose patience
No one knows the real pain the person might be feeling who lost his relatives, brothers, or near ones in this turmoil at the hands of the security forces. We cannot comment or blame them whether they are wrong or right. We have to put ourselves in their boots and even then we can’t withstand the pain they feel. It is easy to say then to do. So better to remain silent, or to march in the field leaving all luxurious behind to fight for the cause. All are penning down their comments it is very easy but to be practical is very very very difficult. What will the youth do whose brother had been killed, whose sister molested or raped, putting them behind bars without any crime and guilt. You are to answer or keep mum.
Here intellectual thoughts are of no use and will not work just put them in dustbin and think practical. To comment from inside a cozy room is easy but to live in threat of death under open sky is difficult.
The Kashmiris must retrospect themselves, think what we have lost, what we have gained. By deceiving our own people, we will never be able to win any battle. Now, it is a do and die situation for Kashmir and Kashmiri people, people must remain vigilant, with open eyes, to see, what is going on in their surroundings. We have lost everything, after this resistance, if we wont be able to put our demands in pipeline, then we are very very unfortunate, and it will be real hard to stand again to fight for our rights in future.
I have penned down the past, and the present situation. To accept the truth or to neglect it, the choice is yours.
