Reports pouring in from New Delhi suggest that Government of India (GoI) is all set to replace Jammu and Kashmir governor, NN Vohra by the end of August.
As per reports there are indications that the government is all set to replace Vohra with former Delhi Lieutenant-Governor Vijai Kapoor.
Governor Vohra has been very quiet, at least publicly, during the ongoing unrest in Kashmir.
Vijai Kapoor is a retired IAS officer. He was and former Lt. Governor of Delhi during the Vajpayee government between 1998 and 2004 and joined the BJP in 2008. He is currently director of the Gujarat State Fertilizers and Chemical Limited.
