Today is the last day of the mission Kashmir, till now no progress has been heard or witnessed, from the collation government. Other opposition parties have told no new package for healing touch has been brought for wounded Kashmiries. Rajnath’s second visit in a month may turn futile, with no dialogue with stakeholders and separatists, that was expected and was the need of the hour. Silence from PDP and BJP government has raised many questions In the minds of people, was Rajnath’s visit to poke people’s emotions or just to fix a new date of meeting.
It is very unfortunate that government is not able to understand the anger of people, no respite only uprising. It was a golden chance for government to bring stakeholders and separatists into their confidence, to defuse the tension and bloodshed of people. No doubt, there are many questions and demands in a pipe line, but once the dialogue would start, maybe some demands could have accepted or dealt with, but when there is no self start, things would remain same.
The new calendar that was on the papers, is very harsh and dangerous to execute, Iddgah Chalo, Badamibagh Chalo and other activities to be executed by the people of Kashmir. The joint resistance leadership has already told people to be ready to face harsh days ahead till their demands are fulfilled. No respite from both sides. It is heard that Governor rule, might be an option in the hands of collation government, that might be brought into practice and implemented today or tomorrow, to crush the ongoing unrest. Let us hope for the best.
