Kashmir Economic Alliance, an amalgam of trade bodies on Wednesday attacked the PDP-BJP government saying the ruling coalition was setting scores with the employees union leaders while the traders continue to be “terrorised” by the forces.
Condemning the arrests of Employees Joint Action Committee leaders, chairman KEA Mohammad Yasin Khan, who also heads Kashmir Traders and Manufactures Federation said “It is a known fact that one of ministers in the PDP-BJP coalition, who is often ridiculed for his wicked wisdom had personal animosity with the employee union leaders particularly Qayoom Wani because he often resisted the sinister designs of the minister concerned.”
Khan said it was unfortunate that the employee leaders who were staging peaceful protests against the use of pellet guns have they been booked by the government.
