A joint delegation of opposition parties from Jammu and Kashmir headed by former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah met Prime Minister Narendra Modi today in Delhi.
Rising Kashmir correspondent in Delhi reports that the delegation submitted a memorundum to PM seeking immediate ban on pellet guns and initiating dilogue with all stake holders in the state to end the ongoing political crisis.
Besides Omar, delegation includes PCC Chief G A Mir, CPI (M) MLA M Y Tarigami, Hakeem Yasin and Ghulam Hassan Mir. the delegation has been in Delhi for last three days and has met President Pranab Mukherjee and Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi.
