90 Students from all Over J&K Enrolled Till Date : Sheikh Nazir
The studies of those students affected by the present turmoil in Kashmir valley will be continued by the Private and Government schools of Kargil district so that the students may not suffer.
This was stated by the Chairman All Private Schools Coordination Committee Kargil and the President Islamia School Kargil Sheikh Nazir ul Mehdi Mohammadi during a press Conference in Kargil.
He told that more than 90 students from class LKG to 12th belonging to Kargil, Kashmir Valley and Leh district were enrolled in different Private Schools as well as Government schools in Kargil to continue their studies with certain conditions to be full filled.
He told that the student will get free of cost education which is a contribution from the educational society of Kargil towards the affected students of Kashmir.
The process of enrolling the students started from 13th of August and the last date for submission of the form has been fixed by 27th of August and after that no form will be entertained, Sheikh Nazir Added.
On this occasion the In charge Chief Education officer Kargil Mohammad Iqbal told that the Education Depratment Kargil has circulated a circular and instructed all the schools of Kargil including the Private Schools to enrool the students affected by the present turmoil of Kashmir in their schools.
Mohd Iqbal told that the student swill be enrolled only after registering themselves with the camp office (Jaffaria Academy of Modern Education Kargil) of the All Private Schools Coordination Committee so that they will have a data of students being provided free education.
He also told that if needed, the department will take up the matter with the government in future.
Parents of effected students appreciated the efforts of All Private Schools Coordination Committee Kargil for taking such a step on humanitarian ground.
The press conference was also attended by the Secretary All Private Schools Coordination Committee Kargil Anwar Ali, Chairman JAME and MHMS Kargil Gulzar Hussain Munshi, Chairman Pioneer Public School Kargil Mohammad Iqbal Wani, Principal Pioneer Syed Abul Hassan, Principal JAME Kargil, Principal Mutharry Public School Baroo Murtaza Khalili, Principal Mutharry Public School Bazzar Kargil etc.
