Clashes erupted in Bandipora district on Saturday evening as shopkeepers opened their businesses as part of Hurriyat’s relaxation programme.
Witnesses said that youths pelted stones at the police station in main town after markets opened in the area.
The forces chased the protesters, triggering clashes in Nowpora chowk.
