Reports of intense clashes between protesters and the men in uniform have reached from many places of Kupwara district.
Reports said that intense shelling on protesters was going on at Kuligam (near 18 RR Camp) and Lalpora in Lolab.
As per reports ding dong battles were also going on at Trahgam areas of Kupwara district.
Pertinently, separatist leaders had called for “Jamia Masjid Challo” today to protest against the civilian killings after the killing of militant commander Burhan Wani.
The separatist march was however foiled by clamping curfew throughout the valley and arresting of Hurriyat leaders, Syed Ali Geelani and Mirwaiz Umar Farooq.
