With consecutive 20 day in progress, Kashmiris continue to take out rallies and protest marches in valley.
In South Kashmir’s Verinag, youths took out a protest rally from main chowk after Zuhr prayers today. Youth started their bikes and cars at main chowk Verinag and drove via Nowgam Shahbad, Chowgund, Thamman, Kamar, Halchidar up to Kapran Shahgund. It is almost 20 KM distance. They returned around 5 PM via Batgund and the “freedom” rally concluded at Verinag. It was, however, a peaceful rally.
Meanwhile, reports said that a motorbike rally was taken out in Shopian on Thursday. Police had to use tear smoke shells to disperse the protesters who pelted stones on them.
