Terming the non-availability of Essential Commodities in Valley and elsewhere as unfortunate, JKPCC Chief G.A. Mir has blamed the Govt for failing to ensure supply of essential commodities to people.

Accusing Coalition for not taking measures in this direction, PCC Chief castigated the Govt for remaining limited to official press releases only. The tall claims about the supply of Ration, Sugar etc on the part of Govt stands exposed, he said.

During his tour to Dooru, Verinag, Kapran, PCC Chief felt anguished to notice that people are suffering severely due to non-availability of essential commodities.

The people complained of non-availability of Sugar, Rice, and Kerosene on the Eve of Eid Ul Fitr. They also apprised him (G.A. Mir) that they were not even getting the ration as per the existing scale as announced by the Govt and sought resolution of problems confronting them in absence of Essential Commodities.

PCC Chief blamed the Govt for failing to ensure proper supply of Ration, Sugar, Kerosene to the people even on the auspicious occasion of Shab-e-Qader and termed it as a complete failure on the part of CAPD Department.

Expressing serious concern over the issue, PCC Chief urged upon the Govt to respond to the grievances of the people by ensuring adequate supply of essential commodities on the eve of Eid Fitr and ahead.
