At least 18 hostages have been rescued from an upscale restaurant in the diplomatic area of Dhaka which came under attack from heavily-armed militants last evening, reports said on Saturday.
Five bodies have been found inside the restaurant; their identities are not clear yet.
This morning, more than 100 commandos stormed the Holey Artisan Bakery which was attacked around 9 pm yesterday by gunmen who took over 20 people, including foreigners, hostage.
Soon after the onslaught, the hostages were rescued.
