Court remands LeT commander to 10-days police custody

Laskari-e-Toiba commander, who was arrested by police on Monday evening at Sogam area of Lolab in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district, was remanded to 10-days police custody by a magistrate today.

The Judicial magistrate Ist Class (Munsiff) Manzoor Ahmad Zargar remanded Abu Ukasha alias Hanzullah after he was produced before him at around 5:00 pm.

The magistrate, earlier declined police request for remand in absentia, underlining that the militant must be produced before the court.

Pertinently, On Monday evening, the LeT militant was apprehended by police at Sogam market while he was making purchasing presumably for Iffitar.
