Governor N.N. Vohra has congratulated Mr. Brham Dutt Magotra and Mr. Aadil Mohi-ud-din on receiving the Sahitya Akademi’s Yuva Puraskar (2016) in recognition of their contributions to Dogri and Kashmiri literature, respectively. Mr. Magotra has been awarded for Kule Bhav (Poetry; Dogri) where as Mr. Mohi-ud-Din for Zol Dith Sadras (Criticism; Kashmiri).
The Governor has also congratulated Mr. Om Goswami and Ms. Roohi Jan for receiving Sahitya Akademi’s Bal Sahitya Purasakar (2016) for Jangal Ch Mangal (Novelette) in Dogri and Shoer Bashe (Stories) in Kashmiri, respectively.
In letters to the authors the Governor has wished them continuing successes in all their future literary endeavours.
