Kashmir Gold Cup Taekwon-Do concludes

The concluding ceremony of Kashmir Gold Cup (Taekwon-Do) – 2016, was held at Indoor Stadium Srinagar today

The championship was inaugurated on June 04 and continued for three days.

Mubarak Gul, MLA was the Chief Guest on the occasion, while Aroba Shah- Member Taekwon-Do Federation of India was the Guest of Honour on the occasion. Waseem Raja Khan Joint Secretary Olympic Association was also present on the occasion.

Various international players from Nepal, Bhutan and other parts of the country also participated in the said event.

J&K State (MTC) secured the Gold Cup, Punjab Team get the second position and the 3rd Position was obtained by UP. 4th position was bagged by Bhutan while Nepal secured the 5th position. 60 Gold Medals, 60 Silver Medals, 60 Bronze Medals and 80 Mementoes were distributed among the participating players.

Mubarak Gul distributed the prizes among the winners and hoped that such events shall be held regularly for providing a platform to the local talent/players of the State. He said that organization of such events is a great achievement for the J&K State.
