Kabul : At least seven people were killed as an Azerbaijani cargo plane crashed in Afghanistan, an official said on Thursday.
It said the plane had crashed after taking off from Dwyer airport in Afghanistan.
Azerbaijan Civil Aviation Administration said an An-12 cargo plane, rented from Silk Way (company) for cargo shipping purposes, crashed in Helmand province of Afghanistan.
Xinhua news agency quoted that there were nine people aboard the plane from Azerbaijan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan.
The administration said it would set up a task force to investigate the accident. IANS
