Board of School Education Wednesday said that the blueprint of relaxation in syllabus for class 10 and 12 students will be made public in two days. “Experts are working on it and the pattern of relaxation in syllabus will be made available to students within two days. Students need not to waste their time and should concentrate on their studies,” chairman BOSE Zahoor Ahmed Chatt said.
“The Experts and academicians who have been assigned the job have received inputs from the student community. Everything has been finalized and within two days we are going to make it public. We are also mulling to hold a press conference to allay the apprehensions of the students,” he said.
Responding to a question, Zahoor Ahmed Chatt said that BOSE is well aware of this fact that only 30% syllabus has been completed till July 8. “The relaxation in syllabus will be given in such a manner that no student will suffer or feel uneasy. We can’t postpone the examinations as students have to appear in competitive examinations as well and majority of them apply for these examinations outside the state,” he said.
Chatt said that some examination centres will have to be relocated in wake of damage caused to school buildings during the turmoil. “Students need not to worry. We have made all the arrangements for the smooth conduct of these examinations,” he said adding that the chances for postponement of these examinations are not only minimal but nil.
