Army personnel on Thursday harassed Journalists in North Kashmir’s Bandipora District when they were performing their professional duties.
Troopers of 27 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) deployed in Kaloosa abused reporters of a TV news channel and a Srinagar based English daily and stopped the due from performing its professional duties.
Pertinently people in Kaloosa had accused army personnel of harassment.
“Army troopers threatened us, hurled choicest abuses and did not allow us to move in Kaloosa,” Etv reporter Mohammad Saed Baigh said, adding “we left silently otherwise they (troopers) would have beaten us”
