The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Thursdaychanged the two examination centers in Kashmir for National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) II to be held on July 24.
“As curfew is presently imposed in Srinagar, State Government is providing all necessary support to CBSE to conduct the NEET-II in Srinagar,” CBSE said in a statement.
As per their advice, the current status of the centres follows (see the image).
The statement said the admit card issued by the CBSE would be considered as curfew passes as agreed by the State Government.
“The printed copy of the admit card will be made available to the candidates from23rd July 2016 at their new allotted centre in Srinagar. Also, the arrangement of the photographer is being made to take their postcard and passport size photograph which is a mandatory condition for this examination. Candidates will be photographed without charging any money,” the statement said.
According to the CBSE, statement candidate may contact the local administration for any assistance.
“Candidates are required to make a necessary arrangement so that they may be able to reach at their new allotted centre on time on the day of NEET-II examination, i.e., 24th July 2016. It is also informed that last reporting time at the centre is 09.30 a.m. All the candidates and parents are requested to note the same and make necessary arrangement to report at the allotted centre on time.”
