Srinagar, Jan 31: The Jammu and Kashmir Baseball Association, JKBA is all set to participate in upcoming 32nd Senior National Baseball Championships both men and women scheduled to be held at Bhilai, Chhattisgarh organised by the Chhattisgarh Baseball Association under the auspices of Amateur Baseball Federation of India held from February 8th, 2018. In this context JKBA has picked up the probables during the selection trials at Gindun Stadium, Srinagar on 27th of this month successfully.
The Screening Committee of J&K State Sports Council properly screened state contingent by the honourable member Prof. BA Shah on 29th January, 2018 at Bakhshi Stadium, Srinagar for the onward journey to Bhilai, Chhattisgarh said, in a press statement issued by Fida Hussain Fidvi, General Secretary, Jammu and Kashmir Baseball Association, here. The state contingent comprising 32 players both men and women led by International Medalist Shahnawaz Hussain Mir and 4 officials includes 2 Coaches and 2 Managers in each team who will represent the state under the banner of J&K State Sports Council. Fidvi is also accompanying the squad as head of the state Delegation.
