‘There would be dip in day temperature’
Srinagar, Dec 14: Three days after the Valley received intermittent rains and snow, the weatherman here have predicted dry spell for next one week, saying that the weather would mostly remain cloudy.
Director Meteorological (MeT) department, Sonum Lotus said that there is possibility of further dip in the day temperature from Friday while the weather would mostly remain cloudy for the next one week.
“There is predication of dry spell from now onwards for the next one week. As per the prediction no rains or snow would occur at any place in this period,” he said, adding that there would be occasional sunshine as well.
Earlier, the Valley including the tourist destinations, Gulmarg, Pahlagam, Sonmarg and others received snowfall.
The authorities had made adequate arrangements to tackle any ‘deteriorate’ situation. (KNS)
