Ganderbal: 25th district sqay championship was concluded with great enthusiasm and passion at Government Degree College Ganderbal.
Dysp Ganderbal Mr Ghulam Hassan who was guest on the closing ceremony lauded the organizers for organising such great events and involving youths in the sports in sports especially in sqay martial arts. They other persons which were present on the occasion include Social activist Sayim Mustafa, Farooq Ganderbali, Dr Mujeeb Vice principal GDC Ganderbal and principal of various private schools.
Around 670 participants from all over the Ganderbal district took part in the event.
The guests appreciated District Sqay Association Ganderbal for their contribution in sports and organising such events in the district. Medals were given to the winners of the tournament by the guests at the conclusion of the event.
Concluding the event Mr Saleem Pathan presented vote of thanks to all the guests and participants of the event. He also announced that the Gold medalists will represent Ganderbal in the upcoming UT Sqay Championship
