BSF Soldier Shoots Himself Dead In Anantnag

Anantnag: A paramilitary BSF personnel allegedly committed suicide by shooting himself dead with his service rifle in Aishmuqam area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Friday.

Official sources told GNS that a BSF soldier, Mitul Hazarika of Assam, who was deployed for Yatra duty at JNV Aishmuqam, ended his life by shooting himself dead by using his service rifle.  The soldier’s body has been shifted to Sub District Hospital Seerhamdan Anantnag for medico-legal formalities, they said. A police official confirmed it to GNS and said that the cause of the suicide was being ascertained. (GNS)
