Washington: US President Joe Biden has said India among the Quad countries is “being somewhat shaky” on the issue of Russia’s invasion into Ukraine. Speaking in a business roundtable’s CEO Quarterly meeting on Monday, Biden said, “In response to his aggression, there has been — we presented a united front throughout NATO and in the Pacific. “The Quad is — with the possible exception of India being somewhat shaky on some of this. But Japan has been extremely strong, so has Australia, in terms of dealing with Putin’s aggression. We presented a united front throughout NATO and the Pacific.” Meanwhile, the Pentagon has accused Russian forces of committing war crimes in Ukraine as Kremlin carried out indiscriminate attacks during the conflict. Speaking at a press briefing, he said, “We certainly see clear evidence that Russian forces are committing war crimes and we are helping with the collecting of evidence of that.” “But there’s investigative processes that are going to go on, and we’re going to let that happen. We’re going to contribute to that investigative process.” UNI RNJ
