GANDERBAL: Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Ganderbal, Khursheed Ahmad Shah today chaired a meeting of the Rural Development Department to review the progress of works being executed proposed under District Capex Budget (DCB) 2021-22 in the district.
The meeting took a comprehensive review on the progress of works under execution and discussed detailed proposals under the District Capex Plan, 2021-22 including physical status of projects/works targeted for completion in the current fiscal.
Threadbare discussion was held on the estimation, tendering and allotment status of all works including DDC/ BDC/PRI grants block wise.
The ADDC sought details from the concerned BDOs about the approved works, tendering status, status of estimations and progress of ongoing projects/works in the district.
The meeting was informed that 1407 works are tendered out of 1425 authorized works in the district and 1342 works are allotted including Letter of Indent.
While reviewing the physical and financial progress of works, the ADDC was informed that 421 works are completed besides 424 works are under progress.
Speaking on the occasion, the ADDC said that district administration is committed to ensure equitable development of all blocks in the district and exhorted upon the officers/officials to take all possible measures to accelerate the pace of the ongoing works for their time-bound completion and directed for regular monitoring of works by paying regular field visits.
The meeting was attended Assistant Commissioner Development, Dr Bashir Ahmad, Assistant Commissioner Panchayat, Bilqees Jan, Exen RDD, AEEs, AEs, BDOs, Junior Engineers and other concerned.
