Hamirpur: Normal life has been badly paralyzed due to heavy rains lashing in the lower Himachal Pradesh consisting of the districts of Una, Hamirpur, Kangra, Bilaspur, Solan, and parts of Mandi and Chamba since Wednesday night. Icy cool waves emanating from the Dhauladhar hills of the Himalayas are sweeping across the region bringing down the temperature. The department of Met had already forecast heavy rainfall, thunderstorm, and lightning likely at isolated places over plains/low hills and heavy rain/snowfall likely at isolated places over mid-hills today and tomorrow. Besides, it has also predicted heavy snowfall over the high hills of the state in the coming two days.
