Minister of State for Forest, Environment, Animal, Sheep Husbandry, Fisheries and Cooperatives, Mir Zahoor Ahmad, has said that numerous developmental projects have been sanctioned for Pampore Constituency to develop it on modern lines.
Addressing the Youth of Pampore Constituency at Town Hall Pampore today, the Minister said that Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti is ardently interested in the development of Pampore Constituency.
He said the infrastructural development is a top priority of the Government and that efforts are underway to improve the socio-economic profile of people of all three regions of the State.
The Minister said liberal funding has been released for various developmental works under different sectors in Pampore Constituency.
He also said sufficient funds have also been released for upgrading and improvement of power infrastructure in the Constituency under the Constituency Development Fund (CDF).
Referrimng to the demands of the locals, the Minister said he was aware of the concerns of the Constituency and said that directions have issued to the concerned to ensure redressal of genuine demands of the people.
Speaking on the occasion, Mir Zahoor said the Government is committed to the late Mufti’s political and developmental vision for J&K as a Model State in the country. (PTK)
