Ruling Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) coalition partner Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Thursday stayed away from the state function at Mazar-e-Shohda(Martyrs Graveyard) in Nowhatta, Srinagar.
Neither Deputy Chief Minister Nirmal Singh nor any other leader of BJP attended the function at Mazar-e-Shohda.
Lashing out at BJP for staying away from the state function, former chief minister Farooq Abdullah said:“The Dogra lineage of BJP makes them stay away from this function.”
