On the completion of three years of Union Government, a three-day ‘MODI festival’, began at Kalakendra in Jammu today. The festival was formally inaugurated by MLA Jammu West, Sat Sharma and MLA Jammu East, Rajesh Gupta.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi led Government is taking making concerted efforts to take the nation on the path of development and prosperity. He said that during the last three years, the Union Government has launched number of welfare schemes and all stakeholders should work in synergized way to ensure that benefits of these welfare schemes reach the targeted section of the society, he added.
MLA Jammu East, Rajesh Gupta highlighted the Union government’s schemes and programmes launched for the empowerment of women and the weaker sections of the society. He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi led government has taken unprecedented initiatives to curb the declining sex ratio.
