Condemns arrest of 10 year old boy of Aripanthan.
Expressing serious concern over an unannounced war against Kashmiris by the rulers of New Delhi and their local collaborators in Kashmir and a policy of continuous repression of the population by means of military build to suppress any voice of decent and demand for right to self determination by the Kashmiris, the Hurriyat Conference (M) has appealed the international community to fulfill its responsibility in allaying the suffering of Kashmiris by taking appropriate steps to halt the state sponsored terrorism in Kashmir.
Hurriyat (M) stated that following a well planned policy, the state and its collaborators were on the mission to strangulate the voices of freedom raised by all sections of the society especially the young and students all over Kashmir.
Terming the wanton use of inhuman and brutal force including tear gas shells and pellets against the students in Handwara protesting the indiscriminate use of force by the government forces against their fellow students in the Valley, as the worst form of state terrorism, the APHC has sternly condemned the state for using such inhuman means to crush the student protests in Kashmir.
Expressing concern over the killing of civilian who along with his vehicle was taken forcibly by the army personnel in Shopian along with them, the APHC stated that forced labour has remained an integral part of Indian atrocity in Kashmir. It stated that using any civilian as human shield by the army amounted to a war crime and worst form of human rights violation.
The APHC also condemned the arrest of 10 year old boy of Aripanthan Budgam by the police, adding, the level of suppression has become such that even 10 year old kids are not spared. (KNS)
