South Kashmir Civil Society (SKCS) today holds an emergent meeting at its office headquarters at Anantnag to discuss the present situation in the valley.
According to a press statement issued by SKCS said, “The member present in the meeting expressed deep anguish and resentment at the sad state of affairs going on in the state of Jammu and Kashmir.
“The excessive use of force at the hands of Govt. Forces and the unwarranted forced entries into educational institutions are activities of high-handedness and ” Gondagardhi” using human beings as a shield to fight public protests and anti-militant activities is a gross violation of the international code of human rights, unprecedented in the civilized societies of the world”, SKCS statement reads. The Society puts on record its strong protest against such excesses and human rights violations.
