‘Modi’s Kashmir visit tantamount to rubbing salts on wounds of Kashmiris’
Supporting the shutdown call given by the resistance leaders, the United Jihad Council (UJC) on Friday said that the visit of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi to Kashmir is tantamount to rubbing the salts on the wounds of Kashmiris.
The UJC spokesman, Syed Sadaqat Hussain while quoting the outfit chief, Syed Salah-ud-din as saying, “The Kashmir visit of Narendra Modi is tantamount to rubbing the salts on the wounds of Kashmiris and is aimed to mislead the world.”
He said, “Modi is committing atrocities not only on Muslims but the people belonging to other religions as well. He is visiting the Valley only to show the world community that the situation in the Valley is normal.”
UJC chief said, “The atrocities being committed on the people of Kashmir from past nine months is not hidden to anyone. The innocent people were killed while thousands of people were either maimed or blinded during this period.”
While supporting the shutdown call given by the resistance leaders, UJC chief said, “We hope that the people will show their resentment on the day (April 02) to show the world community that they won’t give up before any atrocity.” (KNS)
