In an e-mailed statement, Hizb spokesman, Saleem Hashmi while quoting the outfit chief, Syed Salah-ud-din as saying, “The militants are sacrificing their lives to strengthen their mission. It stands the responsibility of everyone to respect these sacrifices.”
He said, “The slain militant, Touseef Ahmad Wagay of Kulgam was a kind person and has sacrificed his life for the freedom struggle. The future historians will write these sacrifices with the golden words.”
While condemning the civilian killings near encounter site at Chadoora, Hizb chief said, “To kill innocents and torching the houses is has become a habit of Indian forces to eradicate their embarrassment. Since 1947, Indian forces under well planned conspiracy are committing genocide in Kashmir during which lakhs of people were killed. The recent killings in Chadoora are glaring example of the genocide.”
“Indian forces have used all the atrocious tactics to suppress the voice of Kashmiris but the youth have no fear of death and are taking streets to save their heroes (militants), which stands testimony to the fact that the people of Kashmir including old, Children and youth are attached with the freedom struggle,” he said.
Meanwhile, according to the statement, Hizb Deputy Chief, Saif-ul-llah Khalid and the field operational commander, Mehmood Ghaznavi paid tribute to the slain militant, Touseef Ahmad and others. (KNS)
