Senior separatist leader and President Anjuman Shari Shian Aga Syed Hasan Almosvi Alsafvi Friday condemned the clearance given by the Indian government to arm CRPF with more pellets for controlling the protests in Kashmir.
In a statement, he said that the use of pellet guns is ‘inhuman and barbaric’.
In his Friday congregational address at Imambara Budgam, Aga Hasan requested the international community to take note of these happenings in Kashmir and stop Indian authorities from “butchering” Kashmiri people through “ruthless use of force and pellets”.
Aga Hasan said that despite of the fact that the pellet guns are banned internationally they are used at random rendering hundreds of youth blind. “The pellets are meant to kill animals and we are surprised to see its use here in the valley taking innocent lives and rendering hundreds of youth disabled mostly with lifelong disability. To crush 2016 uprising, pellets were used freely and now government forces will be armed heavily again with pellets,” he said and added that freedom is the birth right of every Kashmiri and they will have it sooner or later.
He said that valley has been turned into garrison and people are suffering miserably amidst gross human rights violations taking place in the broad day light.
Meanwhile, the congregational meetings and conferences as per the statement with regard to ‘Ayam-e-Fatima’ (RA) have been going on and on March 5 (Sunday) a mega conference will be held in Magam Budgam. (KNS)
