JK tourism organizes various travel shows in Mumbai, Pune.
While continuing its aggressive promotional campaign to attract more potential visitors, the JK Tourism on Thursday organized various travel shows in central India’s cities of Mumbai and Pune with overwhelming response from the visitors and participants who thronged the JK pavilion on the platform of TTF/OTM which is one of the country’s biggest Travel show with international participation from about fifty 50 countries and the Tourism boards from all over the country.
According to the statement, the officials said that the JK Tourism Department organized an evening of interaction with Maharashtra Tourism associations and media which had an impressive gathering.
The evening was titled as ‘Shaam e Kargil’ focused to promote unexplored destinations in JK particularly Kargil.
The secretary Tourism and Floriculture, Farooq A shah while addressing the Maharashtra Travel fraternity termed them as ‘Dost e Kashmir’ as the Maharashtra Tourist trade has always been our best friends by promoting Jammu Kashmir as their priority destination.
Shah was accompanied by the Director Tourism Kashmir, MD cable car and the other Tourism officials besides travel trade of the state who had displayed the publicity materials about the products and services of the Jammu and Kashmir.
The Maharashtra Tour operator association along with the Managing Director of Heena Tours, Kesri Tours, Chairman Heena Travels GM Leisure Travel, Cox and kings country head of Bharat Delhi product and Thomas cook assured the JK tourism that Jammu Kashmir is and will be always the priority destination in their itineraries as it is indeed the Himalayan paradise of our country.
The secretary also had a series of meetings with the airlines and other allied sector representatives and asked them to facilitate by keeping the balanced fares. (KNS)
