‘Kashmir’s struggle for freedom would continue till we achieve our goal’
Hurriyat (M) Chairman, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq expressed deep sorrow at the martyrdom of four young freedom fighters at Nagbal in Kulgam.
In a statement, Mirwaiz said severe oppression and refusal to acknowledge and engage with the basic political right and aspiration of the people is pushing our young towards armed resistance and we are losing our most vital resource our future, our youth. mirwaiz paid glowing tributes to the four freedom fighters Mudasir Ahmad Tantray, Wakeel Ahmad Thokar, Muhammad Younis Lone and Farooq Ahmad Bhat.
Terming the killing of civilians Adil Reshi and Mushtaq Ahmed Itoo and injuring of scores of people many among them critically, in indiscriminate firing upon unarmed protesters during cordon of the area by the Indian forces, as deplorable and showing scant regard for the people of Kashmir as humans by the authoritarian State.
Mirwaiz said firing bullets and pellets at civilians to kill blind injure or maim them has become routine and standard response of the anti Kashmir state to any and every protest in a bid to crush them.
