All entry and exit points leading to city centre Lal Chowk have been sealed on Sunday to ensure strict curfew.

As per eyewitnesses commuters are not allowed to cross the barricades at these points.

Reports said that curfew passes issued by authorities are also not being entertained and people are forced to return or take alternative routes.

People complained that they are being barred to get life saving medicines and are unable to visit hospitals to attend to their patients.

The supplies of milk, baby food and vegetables are also reportedly affected in Srinagar city.

The residents alleged that they were being subjected to intense harassment by the police and para-military force personnel in Srinagar and elsewhere in the Valley.
