Doctors Association Kashmir (DAK) Sunday asked doctors to provide free consultation to patients at their private clinics/nursing homes.
President DAK Dr Nisar ul Hassan in a statement urged the doctors not to charge on consultation from patients at their private establishments.
In view of ongoing civil unrest, the financial condition of people is really bad, he said.
“We are passing through difficult times and we need to help each other in this hour of crisis,” Dr Nisar said adding “It is a testing time for all of us and we need to be integrated at this critical juncture.”
Doctors are doing a commendable job in government hospitals and they should continue this good work at their private clinics by offering services free of cost, he said.
