The united resistance leadership had asked people to march towards Aripanthan Beerwah in central Kashmir’s Budgam district where four persons were killed by forces on August 16 morning. Holding placards, the protestors raised pro-freedom, pro-Burhan Wani and anti-India slogans.
The protestors later dispersed off, peacefully.

A similar pro-freedom rally was organised on Friday in Chanapora area of Srinagar. Hundreds of people assembled at a park in Doodh Ganga Colony, Old Chanapora soon after the culmination of Friday prayers.
