What future awaits this sorry world?
Where death of innocents is cheered not mourned.
Where people are led by thieves and crooks
And morality is only confined to books.
Where respect is now garnered by wealth
And bills and coins mean more than health.
Where apes are now occupants of thrones
And children are hunted by man less drones.
Where owners of rich lands are poor and suffer
And those with power loot and plunder.
Where having fair skin is an absolute must
And beauty is limited to the outer crust.
Where he who has knowledge is a homeless bum
And high palaces are filled by ignorant scum.
Where wars are imposed for no good reason
And resistance to tyranny is considered treason.
Where the rights of workers are rebuked and admonished
And the laws state in bold that slavery is abolished!
