Highhandedness of Forces in Bandipora, People protest Peacefully

People of Thursday morning staged peaceful protests in various areas of Bandipora district.

In Aragam area of the district, people staged peaceful protests demanding the re-location of the local police station. Locals also accused army and police of damaging the residential properties and harassment of people in Aragam area.

In Kaloosa, army has erected concertina wires to block the movement of the people.

In Ajas, people organised a blood donation camp for the victims.

A sit-in protests was led by Traders Federation Bandipora in main-market Bandipora. Amid pro-freedom slogans the Traders Federation pledged to support the ongoing movement.

Meanwhile, in Nathpora, Watapora, and Walangam area of the district people observed special prayers for the people killed in forces action and Commander Burhan Wani.
