An Ambulance driver of health department was fired by the CRPF in Srinagar’s Safakadal area while he was ferrying patients from Kangan to SMHS hospital.
The driver, Ghulam Mohammad Sofi after being hit, still managed to ferry patients while driving with one hand only.
As per the information received, he has been operated upon but is grievously injured and has been shifted to Bone & Joint Hospital from SMHS.
