BJP leader from Gujjar community today threatened to quit the party if the party high command failed to allow him to organized Tiranga rally in Kashmir.
In a statement issued here, Poswal who unsuccessfully fought last assembly Election from Karna constituency of Kupwara district said “I will be forced to quit BJP, he is not allowed to organise much important Tiranga rally kick in Kashmir.,” he said.
“I am stunned to see that there is no program of BJP so far in Kashmir in run up to the Independence Day. Despite best of my efforts to strengthened BJP across J&K,” Poswal said.
The BJP leader said he was ready to face hardships in any circumstance if the party high command permitted him to organise Tiranga rally form line of control to Lal-Chowk in Kashmir.
“I joined BJP only to strengthen peace and development in Kashmir and specially to guide Kashmir province youths to shun the path of violence and restore peace and development in the turbulent region,” he said.
Poswal said that he was excited to know about the Tiranga rally to be organized across India but was disappointed when BJP high command did not respond to his request of holding the rally in Kashmir.
