Militant outfit Hizbul Mujhadeen Monday said that ‘Indian Security Agencies are trying to give a communal colour to the ongoing Kashmir freedom struggle and for this purpose these agencies have come up with the fake posters threatening Kashmiri Pandits living in Kashmir particularly in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district and other parts.’
“Indian Agencies are yet again trying to make Kashmiri Pandits scapegoats. We want to make it clear there is no militant organization goes by the name of ‘Lashkar Islami.’ Indian agencies are using this fake name to threat Kashmiri Pandits and give communal color to our freedom struggle. The militants who are up in arms against India can’t think of threatening Kashmiri Pandits. India wants to play Kashmiri Pandits card again. We want to make people aware about this conspiracy and appeal Kashmiri Pandits not to fall prey to this ‘game’ of agencies,” Hizb spokesperson Salim Hashmi quoted deputy commander Saifullah Khalid as having said.
As per the statement issued to news agency CNS, Hizb said that India should read writing on the wall and it will in the interest of India to understand the demand of the people and resolve Kashmir issue as the wishes and aspirations of common masses of Jammu and Kashmir. “The blood drops of Burhan have given birth to thousands of Burhan’s. Struggle will continue till it is taken to logical conclusion,” he said adding that the outfit paid rich tributes to civilians killed in the ongoing protests in Kashmir. (CNS)
