Modi government has decided to initiate talks with Kashmiri separatists in a bid to quell the ongoing unrest in the state, a report published by India Today said on Sunday.
The government intends to hold talks with all stakeholders including Hurriyat in the Valley, the report added.
Separatists have already extended their protest shutdown till August 12. The separatists have been issuing weekly protest calendars since the ongoing protests began in the valley on July 9, a day after Hizbul commander Burhan Wani was killed.
