Flood alert has been sounded in Jammu city and all emergency services have been pressed into service to meet the eventuality of a flood,” a senior officer said.
“At 7 am, Tawi river in the city was flowing at 18 feet, which is the danger mark, while Chenab river is few meters shorter than danger level, which is 30.5 feet.”
