At least ten persons sustained injuries after protests were held at three different places in Anantnag district on Thursday.
Protesters were lathi charged in Ashmuqam however no one was injured and the protesters dispersed peacefully after raising anti-India and pro-freedom slogans, reports said.
6 protesters were however injured at Seer Hamdan area of the same district.
Sources said that 4 more persons sustained injuries at Sirigufwara after police and forces used force against the protesters.
All the injured were stable and treated locally, sources added.
