Editor in Chief of Cross Town News, Member J&K Sports Council & J&K Transport Advisory Committee has asked the BJP Ministers to hoist the National Flag of India on the Independence day at Lal Chownk in Srinagar.

Rahil Gupta in a press statement said “ Kashmir is passing through a phase of disturbances from last twenty five days. Separatist forces are trying to create disturbances in Kashmir. The separatists are throwing challenges to the sovereignty of India . The Separatists are now going on with Graffiti and using terms like ‘India Go Back , We want freedom from India , We want Azaadi ‘, that too on our motherland India.”

Rahil said “ BJP Ministers who have been vocal on National love , have suddenly gone into a shell in J&K. Separatists are playing an open game with the Integrity of India , and BJP Ministers from J&K are shying away from making statements and giving strong replies to Separatists.”

Rahil added “BJYM National President Anurag Thakur started Rashtriya Ekta Yatra from Kolkata to hoist the National Flag on 26th January 2011, when he was not allowed to enter J&K, BJP criticized Omar Abdullah Government. Now in power in J&K, BJP Ministers should take the honor of hoisting the National Flag at Lal Chownk in Srinagar and show to the world that Kashmir is integral part of India.”
