An Emirates flight which was going from Thiruvananthapuram to Dubai crash-landed at the Dubai International Airport around 12.45 pm local time (11.15 am IST). All 275 people onboard the flight were safe.
Reports said the engine of the flight, EK521, caught fire while landing. The crew and the passengers were brought out through an emergency landing following the emergency landing.
The airline authorities said emergency services were managing the situation. Terminal three of the Dubai airport was closed following the incident.
